| Event: Navy League Winter Social |

| Description: In lieu of our usual January meeting featuring a sit-down dinner, the Denver Council is having a get-acquainted Winter Social Event which will reduce costs yet maintain a social atmosphere of friendship and information exchange. Business casual attire. The social will feature: no-host social hour with cocktails,heavy hors d-oeuvre, The Denver Council is fortunate to host a recently retired Navy SEAL who is still involved in consulting and training within the Special Warfare community. He will speak on: (1) core values that make this community of warriors GREAT, and (2) lessons all Americans can benefit from in making pivotal decisions influencing the future of the United States, both at home and abroad. The Denver Council will honor the Navy Recruiting District, Denver’s Recruiter of the Year. |
| Location: Hotel VQ, 1975 Mile High Stadium Circle, Denver, CO 80204. The Hotel VQ is the octagonal shaped building just north of Broncos Stadium. No Parking Fee. Northbound I-25, take exit 210C, turn right at the stop sign by the stadium. Southbound I-25, take exit 211 rap and follow signs for 23rd Ave/20th Ave. Also accessible from Federal Blvd via W. 20th Ave. |
